No surprise. The US in particular is full of believers. Religion, the Trump cult, supplements, unproven therapies. Its not a big bridge if you believe in one you are likley to accept others.
January 29, 2026 at 7:17 PM
Worry about the real danger US political interference .The US is one of the worst nations. They are talking with Alberta separatists. Trump is constantly blackmailing Canada. Dark US money. Who funded the Convoy crowd? Much of our media. A lot of the culture war nonsense is supported from US groups.
January 28, 2026 at 11:35 PM
I would argue technology is Alberta's biggest threat. It could make their oil unprofitable. Anyone that thinks EV's or other technology will not be vastly superior in the future to what we have today is delusional. In 20 years will there be gas or diesel vehicles?
January 28, 2026 at 5:20 PM
Its insane. Little or no research. None of the normal study or review process. A small percentage of physicians are totally quacks or scamers that cook up this BS. Somehow people give these idiots credibility like RFK
January 28, 2026 at 3:42 PM
They are worse than social media. No waiting for facts or an investigation just instant propaganda. Their credibility is shot. Its going to destroy them in court. They already are having cases dismissed. Just wait for all the civil suits.
January 26, 2026 at 8:13 PM
Complete quack. Conflating recommendations with mandates because he was unhappy about Covid mandates.
January 22, 2026 at 9:52 PM
Same issue almost everywhere. Not just Canada. Media runs these stories like they are individual to each province. They are not. There is no practical way to get enough health care workers. Unless you want to hire people that are unsuitable.
January 20, 2026 at 9:36 PM
Same issues in BC. Rural BC is bad, even the suburbs experience closures. Not sure if its worse in Alberta. As a heath care worker I wouldn't go there and you already pay more. Especially with the crazies in charge. But it hardly unique in Canada or elsewhere.
January 19, 2026 at 6:34 PM
Its insane. Its like a course in how to inspire anti American hate. It makes the US and its citizens less safe. The US needs intelligence from the countries they are driving away. Sharing intelligence is not just for military. Terrorism, economic, technology are all at risk.
January 19, 2026 at 5:01 PM
I would guess our large Asians populations skew percentages, especially my Filipino friends. The US likely leads the world in raw numbers of huge people. And yes a lot of people don't need SUV's. But for myself and a lot of others many cars are too small.
January 18, 2026 at 6:21 AM
Try being tall. Half the cars I have tried you get stuck under the steering wheel or have no head room. Lots of people in the US are the size of 2 or 3 Europeans.

Just the one on the right has a functioning brain.
January 18, 2026 at 3:49 AM
Funny worked in Vancouver for 43 years. Lived in an around Vancouver my entire life. I have never heard it called Terminal city. Ypu can block me too because I 100% agree with him.
January 17, 2026 at 5:30 PM
Between phones, cameras in cars, businesses and residential I don't think there is any expectation of privacy in public any longer. Its valuble for emergency services. Police would need strict guidelines. I would guess if you put it to a vote it would be approved.
January 17, 2026 at 4:14 AM
The news is full of stories of expensive battery replacement stories. Thats not the case for those people.
January 16, 2026 at 8:06 PM
Will simple possession cases get dismissed for delays? Cant see them being a priority. The theory you can improve treatments by funding is questionable. Mental health and addictions is low on the list for HCW and they often don't stay. Where do you get staff avoiding the sadists of the past?
January 16, 2026 at 7:35 PM
Hopefully it will help make EV's here more competitive. Not just price but range, charging times and affordable battery replacement.
January 16, 2026 at 6:50 PM
He accepted a Nobel prize that wasn't his.Complete narcissist. Teaching a new generation of children bullying, blackmail, and selfishness is acceptable.
January 16, 2026 at 6:33 PM
They already dismiss serious cases for undue delays under the Jordan decision. As you pointed out VPD didn't charge simple possession before. I would guess there will be a lack of cooperation from Crown and Judges.
January 16, 2026 at 2:25 AM
Being a NATO member makes you more secure. Not just military strength. Intelligence sharing is extremely valuble. Especially when you are inspiring a whole new level of anti American sentiments.
January 14, 2026 at 10:34 PM
Invade and what? It would take the entire US military to occupy a country the size of Canada. They would have freaked out if they lost a dozen soldiers in Venezuela. Won't happen. Congress is a no. Its clearly an illegal order without support from the military. They work with ours constantly.
January 14, 2026 at 4:35 PM
Nures in NYC striking, guess what one of the issues is. So leaving the province isn't going to help its pretty common. Emerg, psychiatry, geriatric care . Same problem for decades just more patients. These things just weren't documented and often not reported.
January 13, 2026 at 6:00 AM
The same for US citizens. They often live or work, go to school orvare tourists in Canada . Raw stats without context are often deceptive.
January 10, 2026 at 9:39 PM
Large numbers of Canadians go to the US for work and business, visit family and to go to university or college.
January 10, 2026 at 9:19 PM
The other issue is by the time it could be finished the price of oil may not justify taking it out off the ground. That Companies wouldn't invest is evidence the experts believe its not viable. So basically a massive subsidy of big oil.
