Why does evil often triumph, short-term? Folks containing high levels of evil are more agitated, so they’re more motivated to act. Their evil actions curdle the residual good in them, making them worse. The good folks can’t keep up. Evil wins the race, but implodes with self-hatred. Win for good!

There are two major design flaws in our species: the worst people achieve the most power and humans tend to be pack animals. Nothing an empathy pill wouldn’t cure. 😄
