As a fanfic writer, I technically own the things I write even if I don't own the underlying work. And I never consented to let the plagiarism machine use my writing for commercial gain. Every work scraped from Ao3 for AI training should get a slice of that $400 billion as well.

Honestly, if you have Republican reps and you have the bandwidth, I recommend doing something similar. They need to know that people are watching, and that their silence is noticed.
