So sick of billionaires telling us we can't afford Universal Healthcare. Along with my Medicare payments I also pay over a 1000 a month for employer provided insurance. In a country they all claim is the richest, most developed, we can somehow afford new warships, but healthcare? No way possible?

She's tone deaf to the fact she and others like her; namely, Trump; are why people distrust the media. Though, she like other MAGA, claim it's the majority, when it's not. It's mostly MAGA disliking anything they deem negative against the Trump administration.

That's been the Tea Party/MAGA playbook. I don't want to be like them, but you have to admit their "toe the line or else" strategy has been successful in allowing them complete control of all branches, especially SCOTUS.
But, I do understand, it's not respect that holds it together, but fear.

Congress is meant to backup the supreme court in the balance of powers. If congress capitulates and gives trump whatever he wants, there's nothing to stop him.

Why do you ignore the many instances when Trump called political opponents “thugs,” “vermin,” or “enemies of the state” before and since this term and compared the Justice Department and FBI to the “Gestapo” in his campaign before this term?

The irony being that many of these conservatives had little compassion for the multitude of children and teachers in elementary schools who have felt unsafe going to school now for years due to school shootings where all they could offer were "thoughts and prayers".
