Bottom line: a country can’t have 2/3 of its people living pay check to pay check, with no healthcare, soaring rents etc without a fascist movement taking root.
Look at history.
And Dems share a big part of the blame along with Repubs for protecting this extreme inequality.

we’re driving cross country right now (weird time to do so!) and the amount of towns we have seen that were obliterated by the pandemic/fentanyl/etc are sobering. life has not worked in America for many people for years and i can’t say it’s surprising they voted for a total upheaval of status quo
