So, I have to ask: is this really about making government work better for the people? Or just making it work better for people like Elon? Because we are not the same.

Yes, there’s wasteful spending—but the cuts being made seem arbitrary. Sure, some waste is being addressed, but the biggest, most obvious waste isn’t even being talked about.

Government isn’t meant to operate that way. It’s the people’s house, built to serve us. Yet now, we face longer wait times, automated responses instead of real human help, and endless lines. That’s what worries me.

This is the problem with running the country like a business. Businesses prioritize profit, often stretching workers thin—asking two or three people to do the job of five. Short staffing, increased workloads, and efficiency at the cost of people’s well-being.

If you listen to the Georgia House and Senate debates on SB 220 and HB 227, it’s clear that reefer madness is still alive and well. We need to put an end to it. The low-THC law was signed 10 years ago, yet sales only started last year. Georgia moves at a cautious, turtle-like pace.

No one should be forced into the black market. It should be an open market—but we have to work to get there.
