We saw a clear example of this attempted with Zelenskyy.

Now with tariffs, just wait for the car sales to decline, workers to be laid off, and all the downstream companies providing parts having to lay off people. See what that does for GDP.

It's kind of like ending the war in Ukraine. Russia can just pull his forces to come home, and magically, the war is over. If trump wants to improve the stock market, all he has to do is cancel the tariffs. Like magic, the economy improves.
