Government employees have always been required to stay at hotels offering the government rate for that area. To be exempted from this requires many levels of review and a very compelling reason for the exemption. These exemptions are almost never granted.

Hi Council Member Ossé @chiosse.bsky.social - I am a constituent of yours in BK and I do not want my tax dollars going toward the NYPD assisting ICE in its unlawful terror campaign. Will you look at whether there is anything the City Council can do to stop this?
