Indian generic company Natco Pharma just announced rare disease drug Risdiplam could cost 97% less.

For TWN, this price difference should prime other countries to follow & allow generic manufacturing in the promotion of public interest.

Trump's aid cuts are bad news for international climate finance.

I looked through the available data to work out how bad...

Around 8% of the climate finance pledged to developing countries by rich countries last year came from the US.

Those funds are now under threat.

Africa Group & Brazil call out global pressures from developed countries against TRIPS flexibilities at WIPO.

A UN report about these cases said this violates the integrity and legitimacy of the rights and duties in the TRIPS Agreement.

Roche targets Indian generic Zydus –that produces generic cancer drug– citing lapses like missing approvals & trial material issues.

But Roche's claims seem more about blocking affordable biosimilars than compliance.
