It's really a question of the definition of "government". What does government do? In my opinion, Elon has it all wrong. A privatized USPS chasing profits won't serve rural customers well. A privatized Amtrak chasing profits won't serve rural and cross-country routes and might not exist at all.

We used to do overnight backpacking trips to Kelly Camp on north side of Ontario Peak when I was in scouts as a kid. Great place to hike!
