I like writing fantasy because it reminds me of simpler times, playing make believe on the playground as a kid, back when anything was possible. I feel like we could all use a little bit of that right about now #writing #fantasy

My least favorite thing about writing fantasy has to be the world building. I don’t wanna write about the history of the Royal Families or plan out geography or whatever, I just want to write about a talking pig who tries to convince the main character that it’s cool to be down with murder man 😭😂

Don’t forget, even if you have to delete pages and pages of junk while you edit, and only find a few good words in the whole mess, that’s still another handful of shine going towards your end product. So don’t let the sifting get you down, there’s gold in them thar hills, git after it!
