My take on The King in Yellow

The robes are curtains because of the play/theatre thing, what looks like a pair of eyes at the top are a false head, the "eyes" being stage lights. Below the false head is The King in Yellow peering out the curtains at the audience. #kinginyellow #fanart

Kind of happy with the way this came out. Comes with either Strawberry or Caramel (I chose Caramel and lost the 50/50). Also didn't mean for Tom to come out as big as he did

The cafe they are at is called St. Arnaud, and its signature item is named A Sweet Song. Its logo can be seen on Tom and Ray's drinks and is a reference to the cover of Jack Stauber's song Milk. Tom is wearing what looks like a Red Dead Redemption shirt, the zipper of the jacket Ray is wearing is broken which is a reference to the owner of the Tom's OC who had a jacket with a broken zipper which managed to fix itself. Ray is also wearing a shirt for the band Ace of Hearts specifically a single called A Fool for You

8. Reckless Tom's first appearance, roughed up, and admittedly taking a lot of inspiration from Deadlock's Drifter 9. Heavy Tom fell but was luckily caught by Stella though holding him is proving to be a bit difficult. Came out a bit more masculine than I intended 10. Sweep First semi decent side profile I've done and also second appearance of Mark. Not entirely sold on Mark's hair but its kinda growing on me 11. Sting First look/design of my version of Ray. Though not the most flattering first look at him

5. Deer Used that one image from that deer girl anime, think it was called Hunter Ex Hunter. ( ≖‿ ≖ ). That right hand is a reference to Zen Master by JamFace and was absolutely not the initially intended way I wanted to draw the hand. Also one of the best things I've done so far with Vanir 6. Pierce This is barely finished if I can even say I drew this, its more accurate to say I slammed my face against the screen and made this. Perspective is all off, and overall I'd describe this as just confused. Move on

1. Moustache First early concept for Mark with Markiplier moustache as a callback to old mark 2. Weave Something that will happen later in Volume 1 though admittedly I think this is the worst thing I've ever done 3. Crown First drawing of Stella. Was listening to Champs-Élysées by Zaz. was also gonna do a flower crown on the table but didn't quite like how that looked. I think I cooked with this 4. Murky first appearance/cameo of a character which will show up in Volume 3 though very undetailed due to not knowing what i want to do with the design
