Also upon further thought and investigation, I came to the conclusion that there are many young bands and artists doing great things! They are out there and they are doing it THEIR way. It can seem like you're alone screaming at a wall but there are more of us than you think. The kids are alright.

Yesterday I posted about the lack of opposition voices in art and music. I thought about it today and I came to the uncomfortable conclusion that I AM OLD. The people that I grew up getting into are even older! One cant expect their grandparents to be the sole voice of opposition.

Why are so few musicians and other artists not loudly and consistently speaking out against this regime? Folks who seemed to have no problem speaking up rather loudly in the past are now curiously quiet. It would seem that this would be THE time to go hard. Am I wrong?

Finishing up a new record. Wondering if amp modeling and plug-ins are cheating? Tried recording my amp today to see if I could hear a difference but I honestly could not. Will listen with headphones at work tomorrow maybe I'll hear it then. I used a condenser mic to record it. Maybe a different mic?
