Blue

A process in process
Color photo of window blinds. They are out of focus and are tilted at an angle. The colors are shifted with hues of red on the left and green on the right. Test photo of me ripping the poor toy camera apart. It took several days to try and clean the sensor after mounting it to a c/cs adapter. Some spots still remain but given the resolution it really doesn't matter.

Fibers stretched taught

Shape of me

Bare

Personal note: This one was somewhat influenced by "Electric Fan (Feel It Motherfuckers): Only Unclaimed Item from the Stephen Earabino Estate:", an art piece by John S. Boskovich. Influence is a weird feeling for me to navigate but when I have a direct link as to why I make something I feel inclined to point it out. Especially when I look at queer art and what influences people like Boskovich to make art in the first place. People that have the ability to use art as an outlet while simultaneously conveying a message/feeling/emotion in a piece of art truly are an inspiration. I dont think this piece caries anywhere near the weight that Boskovich's does, but at the end of the day that was never the goal I had in mind for this shot. I just want to keep creating and see what journey that process takes me on.

Offending party
Black and white photo of a person holding up a toy camera with a large lens taped to the front of it. Personal note: And this is the culprit for the last photo. Yes this was a functioning set up but it has since changed and no longer uses duct tape. Dont worry though, I did use copious amounts of hot glue for structural integrity. Also I still need to properly calculate it but this tiny guy has a like 20x crop factor. Once I get the right adapter I will definitely be looking at craters on the moon. Maybe even sunspots...

Characters in play

Velvet bloom

Soft waves of tightly packed lines/Small square

Fear
