What a time to be alive
I've become a semi-competent 3d designer!

Our legal system is too slow and it's currently incapable of defending itself against existential threats. Semantic manipulation and bad faith arguments will need to be accounted for going forward, if there's a forward as a nation that's poised to try to fill the gaps that allowed all this.

The way forward?
Nationalize a wholllllle lot of things and set up two "markets" - allow capital to play in a sandbox market for trying/implementing new ideas and things, and nationalizing matured things that we would gain more from standardization and competition is socially unnecessary.

The amount of people actively staying ignorant of current events is disheartening. We've seen over the last ~75 years what happens when the working class disengages from politics and have to deal with it now.

@repbeatty.bsky.social - Does Democratic leadership even exist right now?
I don't feel very represented.

I think if we just gave the executive reigns to a bunch of millennials w/ ADHD and a guaranteed adderall supply, we could get the country back together in a few years.

I'm so confused at why there's uproar of Hegseth's double-tap. Like, this is where more people are drawing the line? What the fuck? Happy for more pushback but, I ask again, what the fuck?

I support leftist dems, but hold out little hope for the current system. The dems in leadership roles need to accept that the playing field isn't what they prepped for and either change or make way. Lay the foundation for the future - talk about ranked choice, UBI, other long-term *solutions*

Dirty face after getting my next grow ready!
Really getting a pattern down for consistency.

Columbus, Ohio bond issues were certainly a choice. Generally, they'll fund good things. However, we're in a time where humans can predict the economy with less accuracy than the normal lack of accuracy. If the plan funding is short through tax & utility revenue, property taxes rise. Boooo

I have been charged in a federal indictment sought by the Department of Justice.

This political prosecution is an attack on all of our First Amendment rights. I’m not backing down, and we’re going to win.

If you're not considered a terrorist by the US government yet, are you even human?

Leaning into my ADHD has made me pretty good at several niche hobbies and have an incredibly healthy distaste for capitalism. I always had a bit of the latter because there were too many "why" questions that couldn't be answered when I was young, but damn, it's a death cult.

Paying attention to the worst that's going on around the nation while living in a perfectly calm city is fucking wild. It's a good tactic because you have so many people not faced with it and for any number of reasons want to pretend it doesn't exist who would otherwise fight back.

As a bassist in some capacity for over half my life, I've always loved RHCP because the music is just great. There's also this.

It's weird that some people who claim to be proud Americans are not also antifa.

Why's everything so extra stupid right now?

@prusa3d.com just picked up a core one and - wow! Super easy instructions to put together from a kid and really fun so far! It worked the first time in turned it on 😂

The real reason trump seems to have no real achilles heel is because the cankles offer protection.

The performative efforts of democrats mirrors the energy of performative perks offered by corporations, and they've absolutely been on the same trajectory since early/mid last century (from substance to superficial).
August 23, 2025 at 2:36 PM
When will the left start to coalesce around people and not corporations? Until a future's crafted and articulated to people that focuses on building a real foundation in America, there won't be a unifying force. The 'left' at large have policy ideas, but need an actual, common foundational vision.

Putin's on our soil and not as a corpse trophy? Boooo

We're really letting these fools just run the country. Like, if everyone doesn't want to get involved in kicking them out, okay? But could you start supporting people that do?
