The collapse of tourism and the job losses that ensue might change this. Few people have to go to America, and the America you once felt fondly about has gone. Only them losing money will create change. Just as boycotting cinemas, movies, news channels and, yes, reducing banking transactions will.

Got to be a reason why Trump is running away from Albanese. And they’ll never, ever return that money. Unless Albo is being diplomatic and waiting for the Dems to get back in but it seems a lost cause. Put the money into warships and make them in Adelaide. And close some US bases down.
