Coral reefs, vital ecosystems that support 1/4 of marine life & protect hundreds of millions of people, are now in irreversible decline due to ocean warming & acidification.

A month ahead of #COP30, 2m people came to Belém during religious celebration Círio de Nazaré.

While pilgrims walked towards the main church, Mídia Indígena & Mídia Ninja held an event to highlight that the Amazon is sacred, & fighting for a safe climate is an act of faith in our shared future.
