So, the “Big beautiful bill” that mandates tax breaks to billionaires and throws 13 million people off Medicaid did not pass the Budget Committee today. I’m sorry my Congressman, Neal Dunn supports it. The rural counties in his district will suffer. All rural counties will suffer. Sad.

Tariffs are TAXES, no matter how many times politicians say the foreign countries will pay the tariffs. That is not the truth. So much damage has already been done by one man that the working class and rural counties will suffer for years. Rescind the tariffs. Now.

VP Vance wants to close Black Heritage at Smithsonian and remove everything pertaining to people of color. He wants history to say the Civil War was about states rights. It was about states right to own and sell slaves. Our history must not be revised. It is what it is.

The Secretary of Defense should not be talking like a politician and talking down to honest journalists doing their job and finally, managing the most powerful armed force in the world is not a family affair. Hegsteth needs an anger management course and a course on how to use his phone. Pitiful.

When will Hegseth quit talking about military intelligence on his cell phone and why is his family and lawyer on the same link? In any other administration he would have been gone. He is a clear and present danger to America. He needs training. He also is removing women and people of color.

One more thing. The attack on education, so only what Project 2025 and its enablers in Congress want taught is bad enough, but the damage to the hospitals these universities serve will be felt by people who are in harm’s way. Jobs will disappear when more should be added.

God bless Harvard. Project 2025 wants to control all education from the first grade through the doctoral program. This effort to thwart a proven education system and establish a system of a singular narrative not rooted in truth is unacceptable. We should not be ruled by Executive Order and 2025.

So, Military News reported this morning that senior non-com trainees are barred from writing essays on “topics such as women, minorities and other issues related to diversity.”What is being done by hegsteth is one more way to keep women and minorities “in their place.” Unacceptable. Oorah!

Why can’t the president stop russia from slaughtering women and children? He can stop it and save Ukraine from destruction. Envoys should go to Ukraine instead of russia. russia is not an American friend. It makes me sad and mad when any children are slaughtered. Pitiful.

The president bullied Congress into submission and the Supreme Court majority seems to be on the edge of submission. I understand what is happening and it should wake us all up. I think Bondi, on behalf of her boss, will tell the court she will not accept their rulings. That will define us.

Are immigrants coming into America because countries are”emptying their jails?” If a ruler wants to dehumanize people, saying they come from jails makes them easier to hate for the haters. I believe the immigrants are looking for a better life. They must come in legally. They are needed.

I’m trying to get my head around what happened today. One man enacted tariffs and chaos around the world followed. Then he paused them and wants to be applauded for saving us. He can still put tariffs on a country with a tweet. One-man rule is opposite rule of law. Why is Congress allowing this?
