Canada needs a reset—something like the 2008 crash the U.S. went through.

I know it sounds like an easy way out to hope for an economic shakeup, but I just don’t see how we can get back to real equality without something big changing.

Of course I want our current system to improve. I want innovation I want entruprunership , but I want all of that under public health care. If private health can do it then public health care can do it better. 

We all know that Canadian healthcare is a total mess right now. But frankly speaking, I’m not convinced that having more room for private healthcare which is inherently profits based is the best way to move forward.

The audience members were very much engaged and shared wide views. I was surprised, and actually I also appreciated the fact that a lot of the audience members made counter arguments to the panelists and in some cases said things that should have been said to ensure balanced point of views.

However, the Globe team did a fantastic job including members of historically, vulnerable communities. So, even though they had the execs from Medical Association of Canada, who I think are pro private healthcare, entrepreneurs. They also had representatives from indigenous and minority communities.
