i'm disappointed at the first one, it was a really cool feature i've never seen anywhere else. hopefully they haven't killed the idea! :)

so it turns out that they have cut some endpoints:
- wayfinding (locate items within a store, though i believe this wasn't ready for the public anyway)
- guest account registration (does not affect user experience)
- nectar offers (for non-brits, this is their loyalty scheme)

from the poking around i've done already, here are some fun things:
- the app uses MQTT to communicate when they're docked and undocked
- the in-store version can sign in with just a Nectar loyalty card. the public version can't do that
- there's an API to help find items in store! did not know
