I am a retired health professional, an artist and art educator in the Pacific Northwest. I am a practicing Buddhist. My aim is to use my art to promote socioecological awareness. I am a longtime activist who prefers direct action through community service.
This is my latest painting, a viewpoint of Mount Pisgah Arboretum in Eugene. Mt. Pisgah is a sanctuary for plants, trees, the Willamette River and all its fauna. I have recently committed to paint a series entitled Lost Lands, which will focus on indigenous territory threatened by encroachment.
