We call our fish 'floppy'. Our cat picks him up after we go to bed. He walks around the house crying for awhile. He loves it. He places the fish in different strategic places for us to find the next day.

It was the word 'shame' that turned his head to the screen. He watched for a bit and I saw him looking worried. I consoled him and told him he was a good boy.

We use the word 'shame' when he's been naughty. We say it and it is enough most times for him to change his behavior. If only the ice agent had that sense.

Sorry to disagree. But apparently this IS who we are. It's not who we purport to be - but at this moment in time the government that is supposed to represent us is representing us in this way. Accepting this reality may be the only way to change it.
