My guess is Al Gore won in 1999 and we developed nationwide high speed rail, universal healthcare, bridges didn’t collapse, aircraft didn’t crash into each other. The budget surplus continued for another 8 years & the real estate crash never happened.

Musk probably wants to control the air space too 🥴 plus its harder for people to leave the country if they’re afraid to fly and/or can’t get a flight out. I’m not saying it’ll stop all flights but it’ll stop enough of them
