I find it really annoying when people don’t know the difference between entomology and etymology. It bugs me in ways I can’t put into words.

The US has always presented itself as the bastion of democracy, the world’s policeman and the greatest economy on Earth. But its halo has slipped. How can America expect to be taken seriously in the future when it chose to elect Donald Trump as President, not once, but twice? The US is in decline.

I’m quite enjoying BlueSky as a platform but it’s annoying the hell out of me that I have 491 followers, of which about 400 are predominantly young women with few followers and zero posts. What’s the point? There’s no attempt at interaction.

I am sitting watching a documentary about the Battle of Britain. Sitting alongside me is my 89yo mother who actually lived through it as a 6yo. How awesome is that? Living history.

After a very difficult year I saw this today. It’s the most spiritually uplifting thing I’ve seen all year. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Be sure to start atvthe beginning. Dedicated to my 12yo Granddaughter who is not defined by her Downs. Our shining star.
