Aha!! You’re right. I completely misread it 😬😂. Yes. “Skank” is a derogatory term, usually for women of course 🙄. It means a slutty (also an awful word) or “loose” woman. All ridiculous, outdated, misogynistic words really.

I've never heard "shank" used as a slur, although it obviously was in that context. Usually it's a homemade knife or weapon in a prison, so maybe "weapon"? I know here in Ireland we would use he/she is a "right weapon" if they were a nasty person. But I'm only guessing!! 😱😀
