My cooking apron arrives today so I can finally stop wearing gardening clothes when I fry eggplant or chicken cutlets. $10!! Which seems great and way underpriced. Hopefully I don’t receive just a picture of it. 🤔🫤

These hedges had to finally come out. Almost 40yrs old and had some dead spots. Will have to plant a row of Arborvitae. This same process had to be done 5 years ago on the other side. Although it’s hard to lose the privacy a 15 foot hedge provides the new shrubs will grow large and last longer 🙁

Now time for cider oatmeal cookies. I’m getting all the cooking done today so I can relax all weekend. Just waiting for the apple cider to simmer down from 3 cups to 3 tablespoons. Then add the mixed berries and cranberries. These are so delicious!
