Hoo boy, what a sad story. I accidentally opted for one wave shipping, which means I don’t get ANY of it until all of the expansion material ship. My fault completely. But I’m still very excited!

We’ll actually be doing a nostalgia night with D&D Labyrinth, Solar Quest, and Guillotine next weekend. You’ll likely be hearing our thoughts on how these classics held up on a future episode. This was inspired by your trivia questions on the anniversary episode. Thanks for the inspiration!

Both of those seem like a good additions. Even if you don’t have a fifth player, having more variety would be cool in this game. I enjoy the factions. I also found it a little intimidating at first, but was also surprised at how streamlined and intuitive the gameplay mechanisms were.

I’ve just played the base game. And maybe the ending felt a little quick or anticlimactic because, at least to me, this game doesn’t feel as 4Xy as a lot of 4X games. Maybe that’s because none of us seemed to feel terribly confident about battles, or maybe it was the end game conditions.

Well said, Derek! Completely agree. I haven’t tried Royal Visit, but maybe I need to. My BGHT colleagues also tell me that Rebirth is fun. Have you tried that one?
