There's enough succession planning so that in the event something were to happen to Linux, new kernel releases would still continue to happen smoothly.

I sort of resonate with that. I buy some notebooks and I'm like these are too nice to be written in, and so they stay around untouched. It's a weird hoarder mindset but it's there

I enjoy the Kaweco Sport as a pocket pen, but between the Supra, Kaweco Original, and Perkeo, I end up going with the first two almost always.

Totally. There are two "starter" pens that I keep coming back to always - Pilot Kakuno and Lamy Safari.
Among these, you'd find Safari with an occasional troublesome nib, but Kakuno, never!

That's a great haul! I love Kakuno pens, so cool looking and comfortable to write with.
