I chop the stalks down to the ground. I cover any bits of exposed tubers with topsoil. Then I cover them in situ. I used to use old fertiliser bags (agri type) secured with rocks, but for the last 3 or 4 years I used rolls of garden 'fleece' and pegs. Seems to work OK

Something odd alright lately. I item from Amazon (.ie allegedly) due Monday gone still hasn't showed up in AnPost (notified OK)
Another item from the Netherlands seems to be in limbo, one site says left NL Monday, another still at the sorting centre in NL (Both PostNL sites too) 🤔

I'll take a spin down to my old primary school, but it still bugs decades later that when I was there it was open as normal while other schools in the town had polling stations and were off😆😀
