Did Kimmel donate to Turning Point USA to get his job back? That's my line in the sand. If he did, that's not a win for the 1st Amendment.
Aren't donations to PAC's public record? I would think "meaningful personal donations" would be.

This little spider. 🕷️Spun its web in the top left corner of the garage doorway bc I usually walk thru the other side going in & out since I’ve broken the strands a few times. But s/he finally came up w a design that I won’t run into. Lol. 🕸️

Sautéed in butter. Wanted to savor it bc it’s the first one, so I ate it all by itself. 😋 So much better than store bought. Such a huge difference in flavor & texture. My 1st time eating a homegrown bell pepper. 😭

The not so good side. I think the hole started from sun scald which led to a worm entering the pepper. 🐛 When I first spotted the hole, pepper was still green. I injected it w vinegar, then covered w mesh laundry bag. Seems it worked. Otherwise, I probably would’ve lost the entire pepper.

The plant was in a very small pot when the pepper sprouted & didn’t want to transplant till the pepper did its thing. Transplanted into garden after cutting the pepper off. Hopefully, it will grow a bunch more. 🌱🫑

Haven’t posted garden pix in a minute. Been busy. Dug up some taters today. Surprised to find some good sized ones. Got tired of digging but there’s prolly more. Gonna use a tower next time.

Temps have been nice this week, but overnight lows will be back in the 80’s next week. Maybe I’ll get a couple. 🤞
There’s really not a good way to protect them from the heat here bc it’s not just the highs in the 90’s, it’s also the lows in the 80’s. Just too hot.

And finally, my red bell pepper. I should’ve transplanted a month ago bc the pot is way too small. There are some more, smaller plants in the pot, so if this doesn’t make it, hopefully the others will.
