I am on your side but...finding common ground=uniting values won't happen magically. How to get there from heretoday's values leading to rejection of science? The only real mass breakthrough I have seen in 50 years came from exposure to Gaza videos which splintered belief in prevailing narratives.

Uniting values is indeed a precursor to trusting the science but changing those values has been an uphill battle for decades. We face a constant, well funded attack on equality, equity and education which creates righteously angry citizens vulnerable to manipulation of those values.
