You may like to know that the puppy names aren’t an internet rumor, but come to us direct from the devs via the KH1 Ultimania. (Forgive the botched translation courtesy of Google Lens)

Ok but I think it’s probably Twilight Princess

How deep in the weeds are we getting here? Because, me, reading this, it just sounds like a slightly more fantastic adaptation of Aristotle’s model of the universe where outer space was made of Aether

Just in time!

I would eagerly watch more ragechamp3000

But now, I’m really not so sure, and given that the audience for AI is evidently not that fussy, I think me and my fellow artists are in for a rough ride. I’ll keep creating as hard as I can, and I know the people I wanna reach crave that human element, that passion, but man, this looks bleak.

I wouldn’t have been concerned about this as little as 6 months ago, but this technology’s limits are absolutely unprecedented, I have no idea how far it will go. Given what my videos are built on, accuracy, new discoveries, personal testing, I was sure there’d be no replicating it, no shortcuts.
June 30, 2025 at 1:01 AM
If I find a video I really like, or make one, and share it with someone all aboard the AI train, why would they even want to watch it when they could have the machine create one with the same premise, but more specifically catered to their tastes?
June 30, 2025 at 12:59 AM
Disappointed Hbomberguy hasn’t made a review of Fallout 4? Well, here’s what Google AI thinks that video would look like. 2CPhoenix taking too long to cover the next Mario game? Here you go! And in this reality, the point of sharing art defeats itself.
June 30, 2025 at 12:57 AM
How long until the same is true of their videos tab, or YouTube? “Custom” generated content fresh off the grills of the most sophisticated algorithm in the world, built to exact specifications you didn’t even know you had.
June 30, 2025 at 12:54 AM
And the faster these things learn, the grimmer the future looks to me. The top result of most any Google search right now is some AI generated answer. How long before the top of their images tab is some AI generated images, made just for you based on your inquiry?

People can simply bypass that difficult creative process and skip right to the dopamine hit of sharing something unique(ish) to them.

The problem is, all that generation is just feeding data to the the machine, and we are still very much in the early adoption stage of the new tech curve…

Now those people are speaking my language, lmao
June 11, 2025 at 9:15 PM
And interrogating arbitrary categorization in our language is something I enjoy. I suppose I’m more confused at odd than even. Having one word to mean “multiple of 2” is convenient, but why don’t we have one for 3 or 5? It’d be like calling all food Soup or Not Soup but Not Soup gets its own word.
June 11, 2025 at 2:47 PM
Now imagine we didn’t have a word for even or odd numbers, say the group is thirteen people, you would just say “split into pairs, since we have 13, we’ll need one group of 3.”
