I know a recent MS Entomology MS graduate who discovered a new species of moth while doing her research in her undergraduate at Luther College. She did her grad work at NC Chapel Hill, I think. She was a room mate with my daughter. I will pass this on to her.

I am doing some of this now but mostly working with species just south of us. I use Gaillardia aristata (blanket flower), and Rudbeckia fulgida (orange cone flower). This year I plan to use Salvia azurea, Conoclinium coelestinum (blue mist flower) and possible others.
