My state has a plethora of waterfalls. From impressive drops, gallons of water, tiny trickles and lacy fans, this one is in my top 3 or 4 favorites.

Nope. It's a late 19th century Korean Sung Sun I style Bandaji chest from what is now called North Korea.

This summer, a coffee shop opened in our little town of 1700 (Pic 1) 1st new business in ages.
We now have another shop that has opened (Pic 2)
And, meet our very own, local Santa & Mrs Claus - Bubba & Ashley (who is a nurse practitioner at the local clinic).

Animal shelters are maxed, rescues are struggling. Many are having online auctions/fundraisers. I'm donating some lovely but not needed sterling jewelry to one. Photographed & boxed, I'll deliver to them tomorrow. Finding a way to help a cause that's dear to you does hearts & souls good. #helping

I usually never get a good pic of anything on the ground, because the old arthritis doesn't let me get back up in the field easily.
But, I think this one turned out pretty ok. Don't know a thing about mushrooms but that color let it shine like the sun in a forest floor of leaves. Michigan's U.P. 🌿

Meet Ms. Lovely Leah Louise - Husky & Shepherd cross. She's extremely reactive to other animals and other people (rescue from Texas, shipped up to MI so don't know her past) but we've had her since 2018 and she's the best dog ever for the me and Slash.
