I was so disgusted by her behavior it took me a day to find the historical documentation it evoked in my mind. The Nazi’s commonly used public humiliation as a means to debase Jews and makes them seem less than human so public harming and killing them would be acceptable. (Image from USHMM)

I have recipe books from my great grandmother, who fled Russia in the very early 20th century to escape pogroms. Those books, printed in English, have her notes scrawled, in Yiddish, next to some of her favorites. History, culture, and respect for experience should be revered - not razed.

Yes! My college town got a lot of snow. A friend and I used to go out for coffee and “donuts” when the conditions were right.
