Absolutely agree. Also switched from Lowe's to Snyders Ace Hardware in Aston, which is a great shopping experience although they don't have ALL the things. Never was an Amazon user and gotten rid of pretty much everything Google-related. As you say, living by your principles is its own reward.

We switched also and closed our Red Card. I will admit i don't like the shopping experience nearly as much.

Buy it somewhere other than Amazon. There are websites that support independent bookstores.
