I played a game of Commander Magic the Gathering yesterday. There is an amazing contrast between how enticing deckbuilding and thinking about the game is, and the miserable experience of actually playing the game. I like thinking about magic, but would rather play ANY modern boardgame instead.

First time painting pure yellow after avoiding it for so many years. Thanks, I hate it already. Runny paint combined with horrible coverage makes it a miserable experience.

I finished the dazzle-style camo unit for #Battletech I was working on!
So here is a video with a 360° view of each of the 7 miniatures, 6 tanks and a King Crab.

It is so incredibly frustrating to have an idea for a project in your brain, have planned it out, ironed out the kinks, improved over previous iterations, have the knowledge needed and the means to get it done... But no free time to work on it, so it stays trapped in your brain and won't become real

Another addition to my #Battletech Dazzle camo merc force. A tiny J. Edgar hover light tank! It should be darting at flanking speed through the battlefield while painting targets for it's heavier mates!

Manticore tank for #Battletech painted in dazzle camo! A tank with a proper fusion engine? I bet it comes handy when looking for spares when a more expensive mech is cored out!

My Manticore heavy tank for #Battletech still lacks another layer of highlights to fully counter the effects of the Dazzle camo, but it's shaping up nicely! It will be the 4th dazzle unit I paint, so I will have a full lance by the time it's finished!

Had another game of Star Wars: Imperial Assault. Ended up wounding all the rebels, almost outright defeatiing one of them twice, and knocking the wookie down for good.
In the end, the rebels where against the ropes, yet I was a bit too slow to open the doors of the bunker they were guarding. I lost

I just got my hands on a Crab Battletech. The temptation to add it to my Dazzle force of composed of a King Crab + escorting wheeled and tracked vehicles is strong, but I must refrain from it, if I want to keep what is left of my sanity.

I'm thinking about future painting projects for #Battletech minis, and I decided I want to paint some IlClan era Jade Falcons, since my gamma galaxy are clan invasion era.
I want to go with Jade Falcon Remnants, since we bow to no Wolf.
But First Falcon Sentinels require to be good at freehands...
