Currently reviving an old ASUS laptop by reinstalling everything from scratch. Until I decided to try the mini-OLED screen.
It appears that it was powered by a third-party app, whose board hosted all the plug-ins for driving this screen and all similar devices.

If you were advertised some website displaying as "GMail as if you were logged into the account of a very, very bad person", be aware that some websites detected some dubious HTML code inside.

I checked the installed updates and guess what? There was that pesky #KB5063878!
As it was problematic enough for SSDs (and I had an good old SATA 6Gbps one), I decided to uninstall it and deny its intsllation via WSUS.
ANd... my problem is gone for now!
That's how botched this update is. (3/3)

Le problème quand on veut enregistrer des flux vidéo provenant de vieux ordinateurs parce qu’on ne veut pas utiliser d’émulateur, c’est qu’il faut redoubler d’inventivité.
A fortiori quand on veut enregistrer un jeu #Thomson qui se joue au stylo optique.

Le problème quand on veut enregistrer des flux vidéo provenant de vieux ordinateurs parce qu’on ne veut pas utiliser d’émulateur, c’est qu’il faut redoubler d’inventivité.
A fortiori quand on veut enregistrer un jeu #Thomson qui se joue au stylo optique.
