Honestly, I'm glad he addressed Medvedev's tweets. The Kremlin's been happy to have him as a stunt double to deter the west from supporting Ukraine by making nuclear threats and it's gone unanswered for far too long.

The first step the EU needs to take on its path of strategic autonomy is to stop acting as if the U.S. can impose a settlement on Europe and the Ukraine.
March 18, 2025 at 5:18 PM
Why is the U.S. negotiating on the security of Europe?

I enjoyed your latest podcast. Is Costco selling these hotdogs at a loss? $1.50 for a hotdog seems profitable given how cheap hotdogs are. The other thing to consider that you didn't touch on is that Costco provides these perks to keep people renewing their $60 annual membership.

Honestly, Ford looked weak back peddling on the 25% electricity export tariff.
March 12, 2025 at 9:29 PM
Unfortunately, Ford already blinked and suspended the electricity surcharge in exchange for talks. It will be interpreted in the US as Ford backing down after being threatened with a 50% tariff. The lesson is not to suspend our tariffs until we get a clear guarantee that the U.S. will drop theirs.

Less and less daylight in the response to US from Conservative and Liberal politicians.

What's the point of pressing Trump on a guarantee when his word changes with the wind?
February 28, 2025 at 8:50 PM
Trump wants to impose a ceasefire so he can have a quick win. Zelensky's longer term thinking is frustrating him.
