Being evil really ages ya, doesn’t it?

Yeah going to the Japanese parks really shifts the perspective a lot. I’ve been grappling with all of that since my first trip in 2016.

I view Uni/Disney/Knotts as such different products that I can’t really ever replace one with the other. But the Knott’s pass is an exception deal by comparison, no doubt. I just wish the park had longer hours cause there’s too much of the year where it closes at 6pm which makes visiting difficult

Disney now largely operates as though paying guests are an inconvenience to them instead of being the gracious and accommodating hosts that they still pretend to be whenever they say anything about “the Disney Difference”

The company has shifted so dramatically in how it treats its guests. Guests are treated as if they should be grateful to Disney for the privilege to visit, not that Disney should be grateful to its customers for giving them the business.

I love Disney. I love the parks with my entire soul. I love what they were. I love the glimmers of them that are still good. But the company has destroyed the guest experience in the name of profit.

This company sucks.

And oops, you had three things come up on *90 DAYS* so now you must be punished and not be able to use your pass you paid $1800 for, for a whole month?

…so because of their greed and incompetence your missed reservation gets you penalized even though you’re paying Disney $1800/year to have this stupid fucking scam of a pass?

I think at this point if anybody in 2025 is walking down the street during a protest yelling “LET’S GO ICE” and “GOD BLESS TRUMP” that they freely use a potpourri of slurs in their regular vocabulary.

I still have fun but it’s a lot less fun than I used to have which sucks a lot. They’re really driving the parks into the ground and it’s such a shame to watch

…So now you have to go to Disneyland cause DCA is closing early but getting into the park is a nightmare because two Paint the Night parades and fireworks are happening back to back to back and Disneyland is closing at 11 instead of midnight? LOL GOOD FUCKING LUCK.

Oh you’re in DCA on a Friday night in October cause the vibes on Buena Vista St and Cars Land are immaculate but the park closes at 9pm instead of 10pm cause they’ve cut the budget/hours??

Good question! I’m not sure. If I lived a little further away it would have happened years ago. But I’m so close that I keep tolerating it and i think that’s kind of the case for a lot of folks.

Knott’s is honestly its own trainwreck.
