Yes they did switch during the civil rights era, but changes began well in advance. Eisenhower and Johnson both played a huge part in what is now today's Democratic party. Clinton began calling us the "new Democratic party, which I believe was his nod to Eisenhower's "new deal".

The only reason I've remained on Facebook is to keep in touch with friends and family. But I don't spend any real amount of time there. I just check in every few days to see what's up. Otherwise, I wouldn't have a problem deleting the app.

That is so true. A lot of us will not be very happy come the 20th, nor should anyone be, and yet here we are with Trump supporters living amongst us.

It would be both perilous and ridiculous for them to do so. As much as I love this nation of ours, warts and all, I would not recommend it to anyone who was America curious.
