Luisa Martínez is a formerly undocumented immigrant, and full-time union organizer who has been a member of Portland DSA since 2018, previously serving as its International Organizing Committee and Chapter co-chair. She also served on Steering for the DSA International Committee!

We have led Palestinian liberation and abolitionist organizing, including the Gaza encampments, Uncommitted and No Votes for Genocide, and BDS work; as well as the George Floyd uprising and campaigns to strip police budgets. Our roots extend further beyond, to Occupy and the Arab Spring.

Our platform includes four resolutions and three amendments focused on building a DSA that builds strong chapters, bound by coherent national standards, that can grow local bases of power and make the necessary political interventions in our communities. sordsa.org
