Today’s attack on a Synagogue in Manchester on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, is deeply disturbing and horrifying.

Our thoughts and condolences are with the victims, their families, and the wider Jewish community at this distressing time.

🚨 We've joined with 85 disability and human rights campaign groups in opposing the disastrous Welfare Bill.

There is too much at stake for disabled people for this Bill to be rushed through without meaningful challenge or scrutiny.

MPs must reject it today.

Co-production is essential. The government says so itself. Why have people not been engaged?
Welfare Bill Statement

This Bill has been brought:
- Without consultation with disabled people
- Without assessment of its impact on health/employment outcomes
- Before the review of the PIP assessment has begun
- Without knowing the outcome of the PIP review

Vote against! @basw-uk.bsky.social

Disabled people and their unpaid carers in Wales stand to lose the most from these utterly bizarre proposals by the UK Government.

We call on all MPs in Wales to vote against these cuts today.

#ShowUsYouCare
"If my benefits are lost then I will not be able to afford to live."

Benefit cuts will hit disabled people in Wales the hardest.

All Welsh MPs must vote against the Bill.

Huge thanks to @basw-uk.bsky.social for having us along to share our workshop on 'Community Orientated Practice Makes a Difference'. We appreciated having one of our parents come along to contribute to our presentation! Lived experience is so powerful ❤️
