i have started reading higurashi recently
a screenshot of a search result of ms. higurashi's article from the InuYasha Fandom Wiki, with three images of the character placed next to each other. the screenshot has been edited heavily, with the wiki's favicon having rena ryuugu's original sprite pasted over it, and edited to fit the circular shape of the favicon. the wiki name and link have been edited to say "Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Wiki | Fandom" and "https://Higurashi.fandom.com", respectively. the article title was edited to say "Ms. Higurashi | Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Wiki | Fandom", but the part of the title after Ms. Higurashi's name is noticeably horizontally squashed, and is additionally darker than the rest of the text. the 3 images of ms. higurashi have had rena's sprites placed over them instead, with the 1st being her original default pose in her normal outfit, the 2nd being her original default pose in her school outfit, and the 3rd being her angry ps3 sprite in her highschool outfit. the images have been squashed to fit the boundaries of ms. higurashi's images, which is especially noticable with the 3rd image. the text below the images says "Ms. Higurashi (竜宮 レナ Ryuuguu Rena) is one of the main characters of Higurashi When They Cry. She is a member of the Hinamizawa after-school..." before cutting off.

it's so annoying, even on bsky i'd see some really nasty people... it makes it feel like you're the only normal person and it sucks 😭 i've tried my best to just not engage with lost causes and block, but it still gets to me sometimes ;_;
