I'm loving this book. It's funny and I'm learning stuff.

We are led to believe that there can be only 2 political parties, and they are opposites - left & right, blue & red, liberal & conservative, as if we must choose only one "side".  This is a false dichotomy.

I'm sure this chart from 2022 is radically changed now. For all of our talk of freedom and democracy, we are way down the list in comparison to actual democracies.
