Love beech trees! Had a plant outside over the summer, noticed a beech tree seedling emerged. It had two or three leaves at the end of summer, reached 6-8". I'm hoping it will survive the winter outdoors and I can transplant it in the spring. Odd that there are no beech trees where I live. Wind?
