Definitely a girl. Very affectionate and thoughtful until last year. Still wanting to hold my hand in public and hanging on me at 17. She became disrespectful and rude, especially to her mother who had been deployed. Both mom and godmother are strong, confident women (military & educated).

My former goddaughter is definitely a girl, but uses she/they because it was popular and trendy at her school. She is 18 with the mind of a 10 year old.

I understand the frustration, but there are a lot of us mixed race and white folks fighting back. Don’t alienate those who would step up and join the fight. My spouse is Black and Indigenous South American. We are all human beings and need to stand up to the evil humans together.
