the Canucks usually make good on-ice moves but their PR and statements about players have been rude at best and relationship-damaging at worst. why are they able to act measured and intelligently with on-ice moves but act like jerks when they're in front of a camera/microphone?

guy you wanted on your team when things were going well. carried the Canucks during '24 playoff run. consistently and comically unable to be a positive change-maker when things went awry. definitely needs to go to therapy.
