Unfortunately he was still operating as an old school democrat who wanted to ‘put it behind us & move back to normal’ w/out understanding there’s a new normal. He also sucked at messaging/marketing himself so Republicans didn’t know when he did for them

We absolutely need to do that when the war hasn’t been brought to our city! I believe we activate proactive resistance when we name plainly what is really happening. If we don’t acknowledge they’ve declared war on us then we risk a lack of urgency & don’t inspire involvement

I’m acknowledging what Trump/Hegseth/et al have literally gone on record saying —this is war against blue states & cities. Citizens have not been willing to escalate things yet but are under military attack in some places. We have a window to prevent it happening everywhere

What’s absolutely angering is when Johnson, Trump, Bondi et al talk about ‘protecting the victims’ they mean the men whose lives will be destroyed when they’re exposed as the predators they are!

I have been suggesting we need to transition the House of Representatives into real representation of citizens by calling people up for a term the way we call people for Jury Duty. Most work can be done remotely, you have to live & spend time in your neighborhood, & live under the laws you pass

I do think, given the chance, he would burn the Constitution for treason against him & his plans
