I could not agree more. Most Eagles reporters I would have probably blocked by now, so that I would never be tempted to click on another one of these articles again, but I do really enjoy Jimmy’s writing, and he’s one of the few for whom I will actually put up with it.

I disagree. I think there’s a good chance that it’s just hatred the whole way through.

Oh thank God😂

Hooray!

I don’t think Slay is bluffing. He just doesn’t want to play for the Bills. There’s very little money at stake for him.

So much less than Pederson. Pederson could call plays, and he was actually a huge part of the reason they won a SB. It’s becoming clearer and clearer that Sirianni was just along for the ride.

I saw 3 DT’s at or above 60 snaps, and I was like, “how is that even possible?” Then I saw Baun at 87 snaps and, wow, that’s a lot of snaps.

Well then it sounds like they did decide to take the points.
November 30, 2025 at 2:28 PM
I was joking.

I would hire her as OC in a heartbeat
November 29, 2025 at 4:08 PM
He put all his eggs in the, “Nick Sirianni is a great coach, because he won a super bowl with two good coordinators that the GM and owner picked for him” basket.
November 29, 2025 at 4:02 PM
Parks Frazier called plays for the Colts the second half of 2022, and was apparently not a disaster. Everything I’ve heard about Loeffler says that he was a pretty lousy play-caller in college.

Howie and Lurie know football well enough to watch the same film breakdowns that I watch where literally everyone who knows enough about football to be doing a film breakdown is saying the exact same thing.
November 29, 2025 at 3:49 PM
Yeah, but you can’t hold Sirianni responsible the way you hold those other guys responsible, because he doesn’t actually do anything.
November 29, 2025 at 3:46 PM
It worked out really good for both parties it would seem. Shit, our first SB winning coach was from Reid’s tree, and Andy even talked our first SB MVP out of retiring the year before.
November 29, 2025 at 3:44 PM
I don’t even like our chances of repeating as NFC East champs.
November 29, 2025 at 2:05 AM
What if you kick it and miss it anyway, you know, like they did the time before?
November 29, 2025 at 2:02 AM
We can see how Jalen Hurts contributes when the team is winning.
November 29, 2025 at 1:56 AM
Sirianni and Patullo may not be the only problems, but they’re sure as hell not the solution to any of them either.
November 29, 2025 at 1:29 AM
Best thing for this team might actually be to lose out. This team has proven that they’re resilient enough to come back from that, and it might be the only way to force Howie and Lurie’s hand.
November 29, 2025 at 1:24 AM
Can you imagine if we had fired Sirianni after ‘23 and hired Ben Johnson like everyone knew we should?
November 28, 2025 at 9:02 PM
Pretty much every defense we play does that for a stretch. I wouldn’t read too much into it.
November 27, 2025 at 4:57 PM
Hang the banner.
November 25, 2025 at 12:08 AM
It’s still so ridiculous that he wasn’t gone after 2023. At least they took maximum advantage of the year where he had zero capital and they were able to force him to accept competent coordinators.
November 24, 2025 at 10:36 PM
Retaining him after 2023 was a pretty obvious mistake. Yes, we won the Super Bowl, but it very clearly had nothing to do with him.
